We desire/aim to give the client a bigger life –  An increment, an uplift, a feel-good, satisfaction in their life – by the way we handle all aspects of their project.

Archidraw Associates is a small Nairobi-based design practice founded to offer client-centered services with projects ranging from huts to high rise buildings, simple to executive homes, education to religious places of worship, hospitality to institutional buildings.

The firm is a sole proprietorship that began its creative existence in 1998.

It consciously devotes energy and enthusiasm to every project, no matter what the task at hand is.

The geographical scope of the work covers most of the counties in Kenya, in locations ranging from rural to urban.

EXPERTISE      

As principal / project Architect and lead consultant the following are some of the duties  handled  in the running of projects:-

  1. Receiving and interpretation of clients brief;

  2. Design, detailing and preparation of drawings;

  3.  Submitting drawings to local authorities and the subsequent follow up;

  4. Scheduling and chairing of consultants meetings including preparation of minutes;

  5. Checking other consultants drawings / work to ensure that all information tallies;

  6. Overseeing the tendering process;

  7. Co-ordinating all matters between contractor, consultants and clients;

  8. Scheduling and chairing site meetings including preparation of minutes;

  9. Issuing site and Architects instructions;

  10. Checking valuations done by quantity surveyors;

  11. Preparing, signing and issuing Architects certificates to contractors.
